Mama, have you tried a diet, crushed the first few weeks, then something came up and you completely fell off the wagon? Have you tried diet, after diet, after diet only to fail, fail, fail? After trying all of the diets, I felt the same way. I desperately wanted to lose weight, feel good in my skin and have the energy to keep up with my life, but it was just too hard to follow all the dieting rules! That’s when I realized that I needed a diet that fit my needs, instead of trying to fit into the diet’s needs.
Let me give you a little more backstory, after having my third baby I was exhausted, worn out, and didn’t recognize myself! I was determined to lose the baby weight no matter what it took.
I wanted results and I was willing to do anything! So I tried it all.

I lost weight, gained it back, and put on a little bit more as I bounced from diet to diet. Each time I failed at a diet I got more frustrated and more desperate for something to work.
I became discouraged.
I thought there was something wrong with me.
Why couldn’t I make these diets work? What was wrong with me??
It took finding my forever nutritional home in macro tracking to finally understand that it wasn’t me. It was the diet.
Trying to fit into a diet is like living in a house that someone else built for you.
When you try to fit into a diet, it’s like trying to fit into a house that someone else picks for you.
Someone built a house - an amazing house that is supposed to solve all of your problems! And now they want you to move into it! This is the type of house that healthy people live in, so you agree!
You move into this two-story, three-bedroom, one-bath, “healthy person” house. And it works for a little bit. Sure, you really would have preferred five bedrooms, and at least another bathroom. But you’re willing to sacrifice so that you can have a healthy life.
Until your kids are at each other’s throats and you have to wait 20 minutes for the bathroom any time you have to go. You start to realize you can’t live like this forever!
So, you move back to your old house. It isn’t really any better, but at least it’s comfortable. You know where to find everything in the kitchen and it just feels familiar.
You’ve done this with your nutrition time and time again. Moved into the “perfect house” realized it wasn’t perfect for you and went right back to the way you lived before. So what’s the solution? Building your own nutritional house!

No one’s nutritional house is going to look the same because no one’s nutritional needs are the same!
I see this with my clients all the time! I have meat-eating mamas, vegan mamas, whole foods only mamas, and fast-food loving mamas. I have working mamas, stay-at-home mamas.
