Hey mama, I’m Krista!
I’m a fierce mommy of 3 kiddos, a fire wife and a cheerleader for change!
My journey has been all kinds of crazy, big light bulb moments, incredible self-discoveries and so much growth. I know we are much more alike than different.
Here is what I know, FEAR is a LIAR!
With baby number three, I surpassed the 200-pound mark for the third time and was now struggling with postpartum depression.
Fear would whisper all kinds of untruths to me…
YOU ARE BROKEN
YOU ARE WORTHLESS
YOU ARE LAZY
YOU HAVE NO DISCIPLINE
YOU ARE A BAD MOM
Life was rough and my attitude even worse.
I have learned that we are our strongest after our hardest moments! As the saying goes…before the breakthrough comes the breakdown.
I HIT ROCK BOTTOM
(Check out my full story here)
Brene Brown calls her breakdown a “spiritual awakening” and although I would like to fancy mine up it was anything but fancy — it was a full-on toddler meltdown!

Change is hard and causes massive waves of overwhelm but I also knew that staying the same would be just as hard, miserable and not an option I was willing to take anymore.
The idea of pivoting and trying something new caused me to clam up and run the other way.
Shifting gears is scary even if it was what was best for me. My ego (the primal brain) wanted to keep me safe and safe meant staying in the same cycle of “comfort” even if that “comfort” made me feel depressed, unhappy and in the dumps!
So I had to shut down the fight or flight feeling I was experiencing and begin to talk, move and treat my body differently so that I could breakthrough.
Everything in my being said DON’T DO IT, but I ignored the apprehensive whispers and began my journey.

You are not broken
You are not worthless
You are not lazy
You do not lack discipline
YOU ARE A GOOD MOM

That breakdown helped me breakthrough to live the life I wanted.
I was able to love myself as much as I loved my kids. I found food freedom and healthy boundaries. I was strong again - not just physically strong but mentally strong as well.
I am able to be there for my clients because I have been there too. If I can do it, so can you!
I want that for you too.
In Your Corner,
Krista
